Project description
The objective of the project was to support CIB Bank in its digital transformation by replacing its previous internet banking solutions for corporate clients with a new, unified digital e-channel.
Project solution
Challenge
In the beginning of the project we had to assess the feasibility of using the Italian parent company’s internet banking product and to support the implementation of a new local solution that aligns with the bank’s digital transformation strategy, regulatory requirements, and cost-effectiveness goals.
Implementation
Our professional team provided business and project support for the implementation of the new digital e-channel, specifying new functions, coordinating with banking and vendor participants, managing testing and project execution, and preparing internal rules and regulations. They also supported legislative changes related to PSD2 regulation, open API integration, and instant payment systems.
Result
A comprehensive feasibility study was conducted, including a GAP analysis and assessment of the parent bank’s solution. The analysis revealed that implementing a local Hungarian vendor’s solution would be more cost-effective and better aligned with the bank’s digital transformation goals. As a result, CIB Bank decided to implement the new solution, leading to the successful development of the unified corporate digital e-channel, CIB Business Online.
