Project solution
Objective
The overall objective of this assignment was to introduce quality management (QM) principles into the process management functions of the Macedonian Ministry of Labor and Social Policy (MLSP) and its affiliated institutions. The goal was to achieve ISO 9001:2008 certification from an independent quality system certification body, thereby enhancing the performance in delivering high-quality services to meet the expectations of beneficiaries.
Implementation
The services provided included preparing detailed work plans and conducting a QM GAP analysis, followed by the development and delivery of QM training programs. Vialto Consulting supported the design, development, implementation, and certification of the QMS according to the ISO 9001:2008 standard. Additionally, the consultant provided support for internal and follow-up audits, assisted with the certification application process, and offered continuous support during the re-certification process. The consulting team also prepared comprehensive reports after each phase to document progress and ensure the project’s success.
Result
The project was implemented in four phases. In the first phase, a detailed work plan was prepared, and a QM GAP analysis was conducted to identify areas needing improvement. The second phase involved developing and delivering a comprehensive QM training plan and course program. In the third phase, the necessary procedures and documentation for ISO 9001:2008 certification were identified, and staff were trained to manage the certification process. Finally, in the fourth phase, ongoing support was provided to MLSP and its institutions during the re-certification process, ensuring maintenance of the quality management system.
