Project description
Our client is a large multinational company based in South Korea, with a presence in almost every country in the world, including Hungary. Their operations span from electronic products to insurance and other financial services, and it was this latter division that engaged us for this project. The focus of the project was to analyze the claims management processes for motor insurance using the Celonis CPM4 tool.
Project solution
Challenge
The use of the Celonis CPM4, an on-premise Celonis tool, differs somewhat from the Celonis EMS system used in most of our projects, primarily in terms of architecture. In this system, the databases that Celonis relies on need to be built separately.
Implementation
On-site, we deployed Celonis to implement the CPM4 component and created the necessary databases, for which we developed custom ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) capabilities. We then began testing the process, analyzing the efficiency of each department, the details of cases that were escalated to litigation, and the cases successfully processed on the first attempt. Additionally, we increased overall transparency by continuously refining the process and data model.
Result
We have laid the foundation for the wider deployment of Celonis within the company, completing a pioneering project in the Korean market. This project demonstrated the effectiveness of the Celonis system, even under the strict regulations of the Korean legal system.
