Project description
A large Norwegian multinational company with a strong presence in 80 countries, including New Zealand, with activities ranging from waste management to the food industry, operates an innovative reverse vending machine, which will be introduced in Hungary from the beginning of 2024. The company’s New Zealand division, which specialises primarily in sortation solutions, has decided to explore the benefits of process mining in the purchase-to-pay process.
Project solution
Challenge
Integration with the IFS system has brought new challenges, with a particular focus on suppliers. The primary objective was to demonstrate the possibilities offered by Celonis and to explore how this technology could be adapted for the whole group.
Implementation
We have created a unique application that not only analyses on-time delivery and three-way match, but can also support processes at an operational level. The project has enabled significant process improvement, cost reduction and value creation.
Result
The interfaces created during the project were used to identify the potential for improvement in the company’s purchase-to-pay process and to determine where the greatest efficiency gains could be made. We used the results to help prepare decisions.
