Project description
The purpose of this project was to integrate all data and processes of the Agency for Real Estate Cadastre (AREC) into a unified ERP system, enhancing business processes, planning, cost recovery, and employee productivity by integrating core business databases with other organizational databases.
Project solution
Objective
The objective of the project was to ensure the successful implementation and operation of all proposed components of the ERP system, as outlined in the bid documents, and to secure a successful bid from a contractor to provide these goods and services.
Implementation
The consultancy services included a thorough assessment and analysis of current business processes within AREC, reengineering these processes according to best practices, and preparing block-diagrams and flow charts for new business processes. It identified necessary ERP modules and prepared technical specifications for ERP, Document Management System (DMS), and the integration of e-Cadastre with ERP and DMS. The services also involved assessing the current hardware and software infrastructure, preparing technical specifications for necessary hardware, analyzing data migration needs, and preparing a full tender dossier in compliance with World Bank requirements.
Result
The project successfully provided technical assistance and project management for the selection and implementation of ERP/DMS/eCadastral Gateway software and hardware providers. It ensured the smooth implementation and integration of these systems, guided the business process design, delivered progress reports, and conducted quality assurance. The project also provided recommendations for the operational acceptance of system components and the entire system.
