Project description
The goal of the project was to support our client in implementing a core banking system, which was necessary to respond quickly to constantly changing customer needs and to ensure full compliance with relevant regulations.

Challenge
Modernizing the foundations of a bank’s business operations is a complex project. An IT development of this scale involves numerous risk factors, the mitigation and management of which require resources beyond BAU operations. Our client aimed to ensure the smooth, institution-specific operation of the innovative system through continuous testing. An additional challenge was to provide timely and well-targeted communication not only to bank employees but also to customers regarding the new system, while ensuring that internal changes had minimal impact on customers’ day-to-day banking experience.
Implementation
Our professional team provided business and program support across multiple areas.
Program Communication Support:
- Developing the program’s comprehensive communication master plan and coordinating related tasks
- Coordinating and executing external customer communication and related internal communication (branch network, back-office support)
- Planning, preparing, and coordinating executive communications, including the implementation of related organizational communication
- Optimizing the resource allocation process and aligning it with program-level needs
- Collecting and consolidating organizational resource plans on a regular basis
- Providing methodological and operational support for collecting time reports, preparing plan vs. actual reports, and delivering regular reporting
- Managing issue tracking in collaboration with development partners
- Coordinating and monitoring testing processes across departments, including gathering and communicating requirements to testing teams
- Summarizing and reporting testing results to management
- Facilitating collaboration between testing teams, prioritizing issues efficiently, and managing continuous alignment with developers to meet deadlines
Result
The phased rollout of the new banking platform and the multi-wave migration of customers were successfully completed. Our client now operates on the innovative system, meeting both market and customer expectations.
