This study presents the findings of our research on the process management maturity of Hungarian organizations, as well as the adoption rate of process mining as an emerging process management approach.

Compared to traditional process analysis methods, process mining enables significantly faster, more efficient, and comprehensive analyses that help to:

• identify major improvement potential,
• increase efficiency and reduce costs,
• unlock automation opportunities.

A total of 76 respondents completed the survey, representing a balanced cross-section of organizations—from domestic SMEs and multinational corporations to public sector institutions. Participants were selected from individuals who had previously attended Vialto process management and process mining events, as well as professionals targeted directly on LinkedIn based on their relevant organizational roles. As a result, the self-assessment was completed by professionals with an above-average interest in process management and modern operational methodologies.
